Omuraliev: 'Joint satellite project of OTS is in implementation stage'

A joint satellite project between the Turkic states is in the implementation phase, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), said at an informal summit of the OTS, Report informs.

According to him, work on forming a consortium of five companies has been completed, and three specialized working groups have been established.

He described this project as one of the important areas of cooperation between the OTS in the areas of digitalization and technology. Omuraliev also spoke of the need to deepen economic integration and expand trade and economic cooperation between the Turkic states.

However, he noted that the potential for mutual trade between the countries is not yet fully exploited.

The Secretary General of the OTS emphasized the need to deepen economic integration, expand transport and logistics ties, and develop cooperation mechanisms.

Omuraliev also noted the importance of creating joint production chains and implementing industrial projects between the Turkic states.
