German professor names key platform for developing cooperation with Azerbaijani engineers

The Forum of Azerbaijani Engineers living in Europe, which brings together professionals in the field, is an important platform for exchanging experience and strengthening ties between German and Azerbaijani engineers, Dr. Konstanze Chope, head of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning research group at the Fraunhofer Institute and professor at the Brandenburg University of Technology, told Azerbaijani journalists.

According to Report's European bureau in Hamburg, Chope took part in the 3rd Forum of Azerbaijani Engineers living in Europe in Hamburg.

According to her, participation in such events contributes to the development of international cooperation and allows specialists to exchange knowledge and best practices.

"I already had the honor of participating in this forum last year in Cologne, and I consider it very valuable to have the opportunity to communicate with Azerbaijani engineers," Chope noted.

She added that a specialist from Azerbaijan works in her research group and maintains numerous professional contacts with the country's engineering community.

The professor also expressed confidence that Azerbaijani engineers will be able to successfully apply the knowledge gained in practice in Azerbaijan.

Speaking about technological development, Chope emphasized that artificial intelligence and machine learning are the foundation of modern intelligent solutions.

According to her, without these technologies it is impossible to effectively implement tools such as digital twins, which are also based on AI technologies.

At the 3rd Forum of Azerbaijani Engineers Living in Europe, the professor presented her team's developments during a panel discussion on the topic "Europe's experience in creating smart cities and urban planning."
