Kamran Aliyev: Visit to Türkiye aims at expanding judicial cooperation

The purpose of the visit to Türkiye is to expand cooperation in the judicial field and bring it to a more beneficial point, Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev told to journalists during his visit to Türkiye, Report informs.
The prosecutor general noted that there have been intensive, beneficial cooperation meetings between Türkiye and Azerbaijan's courts, prosecutor's offices, ministries of justice, and law enforcement agencies: "We will try to make these meetings more active in the future. Processes show that these meetings are necessary for both countries."
The delegation led by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev is on a two-day official business visit to Ankara at the invitation of Muhsin Senturk, General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Republic of Türkiye.
The delegation was accompanied by Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Türkiye, Rashad Mammadov.
As part of the program, Kamran Aliyev held a bilateral meeting with Muhsin Senturk at the General Prosecutor's Office at the Supreme Court of Appeal. During the meeting, information about Azerbaijan's law enforcement agencies was provided.
The program includes meetings with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Omer Kerkez, and Türkiye's Minister of Justice, Yılmaz Tunc.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also receive the Azerbaijani delegation.
