Dmytro Lubinets: Azerbaijanis among those missing due to war in Ukraine

Azerbaijanis are also among those missing due to the war in Ukraine, Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Ukrainian Parliament, said during a panel session at an international conference on missing persons held in Baku on October 2, Report informs.
Lubinets highlighted that Azerbaijan is one of the countries that understands Ukraine’s situation well.
“Over 60,000 Ukrainians are currently missing due to the war. We have no information about their fate. The other side must provide details on the missing persons, but unfortunately, this information is not forthcoming,” Lubinets stated.
