Azerbaijani delegation visits Victory Monument in Minsk

A delegation led by Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov visited the Victory Monument at Victory Square in Minsk, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
The visit took place as part of an official trip to Belarus to attend the 16th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan.
During the ceremony, the deputy prime minister and members of the delegation honored the memory of heroes who sacrificed their lives for victory over fascism during World War II and laid a wreath at the monument.
The delegation then placed flowers at the eternal flame and observed a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives.
