Azerbaijan, Finland hold political consultations

Another round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Finland has been held in Baku, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, while the Finnish delegation was headed by Sari Rautio, Director General for the Euro-Atlantic Department at Finland's Foreign Ministry.

During the consultations, political relations between the two countries were discussed, and the importance of maintaining continuous dialogue through reciprocal visits and meetings within international events was emphasized.

Further discussions covered cooperation in the economic, humanitarian, and educational fields, as well as within international organizations. Strategic energy and transport projects initiated and participated in by Azerbaijan were also highlighted.

The consultations included a detailed briefing on the current regional situation, the Azerbaijan‑Armenia normalization process, and the large‑scale restoration, reconstruction, and demining activities in the liberated territories.
