Former Belgian coach Roberto Martinez may change Luis Enrique as head coach of the Spanish national team, Report informs, citing foreign media.
The team managed by the 52-year-old specialist failed to reach the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, losing in the post-match penalty shootout to the Moroccan team (0:0, 0:3 on penalties).
Media reported earlier that Luis Enrique is highly likely to leave his post. According to Onda Cero, if this really happens, one of the contenders for the role of the Roja Fury mentor will be Roberto Martinez, who failed to take the Belgian team out of the group at the current World Cup.
