Dushanbe, Beijing discuss co-op in Central Asia–China format

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping have held discussions on cooperation within the Central Asia–China framework, Report informs, citing the press service of the Tajik President.
The two leaders addressed a wide range of bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues. These included participation in international and regional organizations, trade development, digitalization, transport infrastructure, and attracting Chinese investment and technology.
Special attention was given to hydropower, logistics, the establishment of data centers, cybersecurity, and the application of artificial intelligence. The talks also covered the expansion of interregional cooperation, cultural and educational exchanges, as well as joint efforts to ensure security and respond to modern threats.
