Net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks grow 13.5%

As of August 1 this year, net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 18.963 billion manats, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This is 3.7 percent more than as of July 1, and 0.8 percent more than as of the beginning of the year, and 13.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
As of the end of July, the banks’ net domestic assets amounted to 12.543 billion manats, which is 4.5 percent more than at the end of June, 20.9 percent more than at the beginning of the year, and 25.5 percent more than in annual terms.
