Head of CBA discusses Q1 results with microfinance organization representatives

Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Taleh Kazimov, met with the leadership of the Public Association Azerbaijan Micro-finance Association (AMFA) and representatives of non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs) operating in the microfinance sector.
Report informs, citing the CBA, that the meeting focused on several key topics, including the recently adopted Strategic Framework for the Microfinance Model, the performance results of NBCOs in the first quarter of the current year, achievements to date, and the future development prospects of the sector.
The participants also exchanged views on pressing issues facing NBCOs, such as expanding access to alternative sources of financing and strengthening institutional capacity.
