Environmental protection expenditures to exceed AZN 286M in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan's next year state budget envisages 286.3 million manats (0.2% more than the initial forecast) for environmental protection.
Report informs that this is reflected in the Law on State Budget for 2022, approved by President Ilham Aliyev today.
Of this amount, 249 million manats will be directed to land clearing, wastewater collection and treatment, 15.5 million manats to forestry, 11 million manats to hydrometeorology, 8.2 million manats to the protection of biological resources, 1.4 million manats to fishing and hunting, and 1.2 million manats to other expenses.
