Agricultural business festival underway in Samukh

The 3rd Apricot Festival and Agricultural Business Festival have opened in Samukh. The events are organized by the Regional Development Public Union, the district executive authority, the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, and the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.

According to Report's western bureau, the festival, held in a park on Heydar Aliyev Avenue, showcases the district's agricultural potential.

Visitors can sample local cuisine and explore displays featuring various apricot varieties, jams, and juices. The venue also hosts exhibitions, traditional handicraft workshops, sports competitions, and performances by schoolchildren.

As part of the Agricultural Business Festival, participants are presenting modern technologies, innovative equipment, agricultural machinery, as well as seeds, fertilizers, and plant protection products.

Apricot orchards in Samukh cover more than 500 hectares, and farmers cultivate 16 different apricot varieties here.
