Azerbaijan to repay over $1B in debt in 2022

Next year, Azerbaijan will spend AZN 1.912 billion or $1.125 billion from the state budget on public debt and obligations, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry.
According to the ministry, this is 6.6% of budget expenditures for next year.
Compared to the approved indicator of 2021, the amount associated with the repayment of public debt and obligations will decrease by 13%.
