Azerbaijan sees 38% decline in currency sales

The currency sales in the auctions jointly held by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) in January-July 2023 amounted to $ 1.843 billion, down 37.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the CBA.
In July alone, currency sales made up $272.7 million, showing a 28.5% decline in comparison to a year ago.
