Ulvi Mansurov: Azerbaijan improving regulatory environment for investors

Azerbaijan is implementing regulatory changes to support the private sector and attract investors, Ulvi Mansurov, chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy, said at the Investment Image of Azerbaijan event held during the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) annual meeting in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that support measures include logistics subsidies and concessional lending, as well as the creation of the necessary infrastructure and regulatory environment for investors, which improves the investment climate.
According to him, despite its small domestic market, Azerbaijan can act as a regional hub spanning the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
