Azerbaijan’s insurance market grows nearly 12%

In January-July this year, insurance premiums for 528.258 million manats were collected through 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This is 11.7 percent more than in the same period last year.
The amount of payments made by insurance companies for the reporting period was 301.179 million manats. This is 32.6 percent more than a year earlier.
During the reporting period, 57 manats were paid for every 100 manats of insurance premiums. For the same period last year, this figure was 48 manats.
