Islamic banking should be introduced in Azerbaijan as soon as possible, Vugar Zeynalov, vice-president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic said at the Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit in Baku.
"Both the state and investors need financial support to implement the projects. The longer this support and the lower the interest rate, the more productive the business will be. In this regard, Islamic banking is essential. Its implementation as soon as possible will increase the access of entrepreneurs to financial resources," he noted.
