Romania wants to import green energy from Azerbaijan

The quadrilateral agreement signed between Azerbaijan and other partner countries in Sofia is of great importance, Minister of Energy of Romania, Virgil-Daniel Popescu, said at the Baku Energy Forum, Report informs.
"According to our national plan, we should be ready for the transition of green energy from the Caspian Sea to the west of Romania," he said.
Popescu noted that there are difficulties related to energy sources: "We need to be prepared for the crisis in the coming years and we want to import renewable energy sources."
