Azerbaijan–Czech Intergovernmental Commission co‑chair changed

The co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Czech Intergovernmental Commission has been changed.

According to Report, President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order in this regard.

Under the document, changes have been made to the Azerbaijani side of the Joint Commission on economic, scientific-technical, and cultural cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic.

Based on the order, the Azerbaijani side will now be the Minister of Economy (currently, the commission from the Azerbaijani side is headed by Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has been instructed to send a relevant notification to the Czech Republic regarding these changes.

Meanwhile, the fifth meeting of the Azerbaijani-Czech Intergovernmental Commission took place on March 3, 2023, in Prague.
