OTS countries back regional projects, including Green energy corridor

The member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) welcomed progress in developing joint green energy projects, as stated in the joint declaration following the second meeting of OTS heads of government held today in Baku.

According to Report, the document highlights the importance of strengthening regional energy security, diversifying energy sources, and ensuring the safety of energy routes.

"The participants supported the effective use and expansion of existing infrastructure for transporting oil, gas, and other hydrocarbons. They also welcomed progress in the development and transfer of green energy projects and expressed strong support for the Green energy corridor," the statement reads.

The declaration also emphasized the importance of critical minerals for energy security and the need for cooperation in this area.

"Countries support advancing energy efficiency measures, sharing best practices, and exploring opportunities for cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy," the document states.
