Russian drone strikes kill two in Sumy

In the early hours of July 25, Russian forces carried out strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles against Ukraine's Sumy and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, resulting in at least two deaths, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

According to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, a strike by a drone hit a civilian infrastructure facility in Sumy, damaging warehouse buildings and vehicles.

Later, Acting Mayor of Sumy Oblast Artem Kobzar reported that the death toll had risen to two, with three others injured.

He stated that in the Zarichnyi district, a civilian facility was struck, while in the Kovpakivskyi district, a gas station and the roof of a residential building were hit. A supermarket building was also damaged.

In Zaporizhzhia, regional military administration head Ivan Fedorov said a Russian strike damaged a shopping center, causing a fire over an area of about 500 square meters.

According to the latest information, the attack in Zaporizhzhia injured a 63‑year‑old man.
