Azerbaijan observes decrease in crude oil exports

Azerbaijan exported nearly 9.87 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks, valued at over $6.25 billion in the first five months of 2024, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
According to the committee, this is a decrease of 16.02 percent in volume and 13.3 percent in value compared to the same period of 2023.
In January-May 2024, the share of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks in Azerbaijan’s total exports was 56.19 percent.
