Azerbaijan declared imports of approximately 222 MCM of gas in January-July

Azerbaijan's declared gas imports in January-July 2025 totaled 221,593,180 cubic meters, a 2.1-fold decrease compared to the same period last year, Repor informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
The value of imported gas was $33,982,440, a 2.2-fold decrease. Gas from Turkmenistan accounted for 200,351,380 cubic meters of this volume, worth $30,052,710.
This represents a 35.9% decrease in both quantity and value compared to January-July 2024. In addition, 21,241,810 cubic meters of gas worth $3,929,730 were imported from Russia during the reporting period.
This represents a 6.7-fold decrease in both quantity and value compared to January-July 2024.
In 2024, Azerbaijan's declared gas imports totaled 546,819,580 cubic meters (a 4.3-fold decrease compared to 2023) worth $86,988,380 (a 4.2-fold decrease). The imports were from Russia and Turkmenistan.
