Azerbaijan to reopen schools from February 1

Azerbaijan is planning to return schoolchildren to their desks from February 1.
Report informs that the relevant agencies have already set instructions to the schools, and the educational establishments are now preparing to resume the in-person education.
According to the information, starting February 1, students of primary school will study alternately, two or three times a week, while students of grades five to nine will attend classes after February 15.
Education Minister Emin Amrullayev will hold a briefing on the resumption of classes in schools tomorrow, on January 22.
Azerbaijani schoolchildren currently study remotely amid the coronavirus pandemic.
