ADA University holds next Steering Committee meeting on dual degree programs

The next meeting of the Steering Committee on dual degree programs between ADA University and George Washington University (GWU) was held in Washington, Report informs.
The event, organized at George Washington University, was attended by official representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, the Education Development Fund, the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, as well as the leadership and faculty of both universities.
During the meeting, an amendment document to the cooperation agreement between ADA University and GWU was signed.
Within the official discussions, the parties carried out a general evaluation of the dual master's degree programs in Computer Science and Data Analytics, Electrical and Power Engineering, and Computer Engineering and High-Performance Computing.
The meeting also included broad exchanges of views on student engagement and class integration, diploma issuance procedures for dual degree students, the role of joint programs in the professional development of faculty, and strengthening student inflow into PhD programs.
Since 2020, ADA University has successfully offered dual master's degree programs in Computer Science and Data Analytics and Electrical and Power Engineering in strategic partnership with GWU. These programs, funded under the State Program on Increasing International Competitiveness of Azerbaijan's Higher Education System for 2019–2023, have admitted 117 students, of whom 103 have already graduated.
