UN-Habitat: Nearly 140 countries updated their national climate plans

Around 140 countries have already updated their national climate plans, and this process continues to expand, UN-Habitat representative Lea Ranalder said at a session at WUF13, Report informs.
According to her, approximately 80% of the national climate plans already submitted include urban development issues.
She emphasized that approximately half of the national climate plans pay special attention to urban infrastructure and the built environment.
