Separatist regime's Ministry of Foreign Affairs building demolished in Azerbaijan's Khankandi

The demolition of the building of the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs" of the separatist regime, which has long been presented as the main symbol and attribute of the self-proclaimed regime, has begun in Azerbaijan's Khankandi, Report informs via AZERTAC.

The demolition of the building, which began on September 2, has a symbolic meaning for Azerbaijan as this date was marked as the anniversary of the proclamation of the separatist regime in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

Meetings with foreign pro-Armenian politicians visiting the occupied territories of Azerbaijan were previously held in this building.

Also, visas for entry into these territories were illegally issued, illegal accreditations of foreign journalists were signed.

All this was disrespect for the state sovereignty of Azerbaijan. Babayan and others accused of war crimes who are currently on trial in Baku, sitting in this building, declared that the flag of Azerbaijan in Karabakh can only fly in one case - at the opening of the embassy.

It is for this reason that the beginning of the demolition of this building on September 2 has great political and symbolic significance.
