Baku to demolish high-rise building due to construction of Victory Museum

An 11-story building will be pulled down in connection with the construction of the Victory Museum in the Khatai district of Baku, the Khatai District Executive Power told Report.
The building is located near the Javanshir Bridge, at the intersection of Yusif Safarov and Afiyaddin Jalilov Streets.
The building will be demolished on the basis of state order. Negotiations were held with the building residents, and they were warned. A commission related to resettlement has been set up, and the amount of compensation has been determined. The process of relocating residents from the building is underway. The building will be demolished after the relocation.
