First residents return to Shushakand, receive keys to their new homes - UPDATED

A total of 15 families, totaling 59 individuals, have been resettled in the village of Shushakand in Khojaly district and received the keys to their new homes.
According to Report, the key handover ceremony was attended by the officials from the Special Representative Office of the Azerbaijani President in the city of Khankandi, and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts.
Speaking at the event, Sabuhi Gahramanov, Deputy Special Representative of the Azerbaijani President in the city of Khankandi, and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, congratulated residents on the historic developments and wished them a peaceful and prosperous life in their homeland.
Another group of former internally displaced persons has departed for the village of Sos in the Khojavand district.
According to Report, at this stage 10 families (45 people) are returning to their native village.
Earlier in the morning, two groups of former internally displaced persons also departed for the village of Girmizibazar in the Khojavand district and the village of Shushakand in the Khojaly district. Ten families (39 people) were relocated to Girmizibazar and 15 families (59 people) to Shushakand.
