Bulgaria approves cultural program with Azerbaijan for 2025–2029

The Bulgarian Council of Ministers approved on Thursday a draft program for cooperation between the Culture Ministries of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan for the period 2025–2029.
Report informs via Bulgarian media that the draft program addresses the shared interests of both countries and includes provisions to develop practical cultural relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. It outlines cooperation in music, visual arts, museums and galleries, movable and immovable cultural heritage, the return of illegally exported cultural assets, books and libraries, cinema, folklore, opera, drama, puppet and circus theatre.
The program also provides a framework for experience exchange and for deepening cooperation in cultural and creative industries.
