Tourist buses have been introduced in Baku’s historic Icharishahar, making it easier for both visitors and locals to navigate the city’s old town.
According to Report, the route begins at the iconic Maiden Tower and continues along Gulla, Kichik Gala, Vali Mammadov, Asaf Zeynalli, and Boyuk Gala streets, allowing passengers to experience the unique atmosphere of the ancient city before returning to the starting point at the Maiden Tower.
The line, which covers the most popular and significant roads of the reserve, includes 10 stops near major landmarks. At the initial stage of the project, two eco-friendly golf carts have been deployed, with plans to expand the fleet in line with growing demand.
Children under 10 and passengers over 60 can ride free of charge, while the fare for other passengers is set at 1 manat. The tourist buses operate daily from 14:00 to 22:00.
