Credit investments in Azerbaijan's economy up by 11%

As of August 1, 2025, credit investments in Azerbaijan's economy exceeded 30.2 billion manats.
Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), that this is 0.9% higher compared to the previous month, 3.3% higher compared to the beginning of the current year, and 11% higher compared to August 1 of last year.
Private investments account 69.7% or 21.0981 billion manats of the total investments, an increase of 10.7% compared to a year earlier.
As of the reporting date, credit investments by state-owned banks amounted to 7.4001 billion manats, an 11.5% year-on-year increase. The share of state-owned banks in total credit investments rose from 24.3% to 24.45% over the year.
Credit investments by non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs) as of August 1 stood at 1.7597 billion manats, marking an increase of 11.8%. The share of NBCOs in total credit investments was 5.8% over the year.
Azerbaijan currently has 22 banks, 2 of which have state participation. The number of NBCOs stands at 56.
