First historical documentary created using AI presented in Baku

The Nizami Cinema Center has hosted the presentation of the first historical documentary created using artificial intelligence, "Sultan Hasan Bahadur," produced by Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, Report informs.

Representatives of the Ministry of Culture, members of the Milli Majlis, cultural figures, the public, and media participated in the presentation.

Deputy Minister of Culture Saadat Yusifova called the film an important project in terms of national identity and noted that artificial intelligence technologies will be increasingly used in the film industry.

Rovshan Mammadov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, stated that the film is based on historical facts and that special attention was paid to accuracy during its production.

"Sultan Hasan Bahadur" is the first film in AzTV's "Proud of Our History" series, produced jointly with the Turkish company Patik Production. The film was directed by Mecit Güven, and written by Sarvar Bayramov, Mahir Garibov, and Sevda Huseyn.

The film is dedicated to the ruler of the Akkoyunlu state, Uzun Hasan (Sultan Hasan Bahadur), and his mother, Sara Khatun, considered the first female diplomat in the East.
