US EXIM Bank to support Azerbaijan’s green and innovation projects

The US Export–Import Bank (US EXIM Bank) will provide financial instruments to support Azerbaijan’s energy projects—including its green transition, translogistics, and innovation initiatives, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said at a special Cabinet meeting dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev’s recent visit to Washington, according to Report.

"During a joint meeting involving the president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the president and general advisor to the Chairman of US EXIM Bank within the framework of the working visit of President Ilham Aliyev to the United States, fruitful discussions were held on the achievements in the field of economic development and diversification in Azerbaijan, as well as new prospects opening up for the implementation of large investment projects," Jabbarov noted.
