US approves $1.9 trillion stimulation of economy

The US House of Representatives has approved a package of measures to stimulate the economy for $1.9 trillion amid the coronavirus pandemic, Report informs referring to NBC channel.
As many as 219 people voted for the relevant bill, 212 parliamentarians opposed it.
Now the document must be adopted by the Senate and signed by US President Joe Biden.
The draft also features checks for $1,400 to be sent to most taxpayers and an increase in the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.
