Azerbaijan to open Trade House in Japan

Azerbaijan plans to open its next Trade House in Tokyo, Japan, Yusif Abdullayev, head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) under the Ministry of Economy, told Report.

According to him, the opening of a Trade House in this country will be a useful project: "A list of non-oil products to be exported to Japan is currently being prepared. The key to opening a Trade House is identifying a component that can affect the trade balance."

Abdullayev touched upon the impact of Azerbaijani trade houses on exports:

"For example, we have trading houses and trade missions in China. This has a direct effect on non-oil trade between Azerbaijan and China. Our trade representatives abroad have a specific goal. Both trading houses and trade missions are beneficial and practical."

The number of Azerbaijani trade houses abroad exceeds 15.
