Azerbaijan imports $21.4M in construction materials from Türkiye

Azerbaijan imported cement, glass, ceramic, and clay products worth $21.44 million from Türkiye during the first six months of this year, Report informs, citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

The figure represents a 2.4% decrease compared with the same period last year.

In June alone, Türkiye exported $2.83 million worth of cement, glass, ceramic, and clay products to Azerbaijan, down 27.7% from a year earlier.

During the January–June period, Türkiye's total exports of cement, glass, ceramic, and clay products increased by 2.4% year-on-year to $2.23 billion. In June, exports in the category rose 15% from the previous year to $420.13 million.

The largest importers of these products from Türkiye during the six-month period were Romania, with $379.29 million in imports, up 9.8% year-on-year, followed by Italy with $161.44 million, up 9.5%, and Germany with $121.54 million, down 8.7%.
