Alina Khalafova: Some student startup projects already generating income

The students' startup projects presented at the National Startup Championship in Azerbaijan have already been launched for sale and are generating real revenue, Alina Khalafova, head of the Miniboss Business School, said at the National Startup Championship for children and teens aged 6-17, Report informs.
According to her, the championship is not only a competition but also a final reporting ceremony for the academic year, where the students showcase their acquired skills. She noted that some of the projects have already been put up for sale at the Deniz Mall shopping center, and the sales process will continue until June 25.
Khalafova stated that 20 teams are participating in the competition, 11 of which are in the startup category. She added that the jury evaluates the projects based on profitability, innovation, social media presence, and ability to answer questions.
There are also six special nominations: best presentation, best product design, most creative idea, most innovative idea, best stage performance, and best brand.
