Poland resumes tea imports from Azerbaijan

In January-May this year, Azerbaijan imported 5,990 tons of black tea worth $29.338 million, which is 82 tons (2.5%) less in quantitative terms than in the same period last year, and $2.7 million (21.3%) more in t value terms, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

Azerbaijan imported 5,057 tons (+13%) of black tea worth $25.303 million (+40%) from Sri Lanka, 335.04 tons (-12.5%) worth $1.86 million (+3.4%) from Russia, 281.01 tons (-12%) worth $916,720 (-23.5%) form India, 150 tons (+63%) worth $745,990 (+2.4 times) from Kenya, and 105.3 tons (-83.4%) worth $201,170 (-68.3%) from Vietnam.

In January-May this year, Azerbaijan exported 838.93 tons of black tea worth $4.977 million, which is 41.5% more in quantitative terms than in the same period last year and 86.6% in value.

Azerbaijan exported 522.61 tons (+10.6 times) of black tea worth $2.256 million (+7.4 times) to Russia, 237.58 tons (-10.3%) worth $2.015 million (-1.9%) to Georgia, 43.38 tons (-48.2%) worth $348,770 (-47.7%) to Ukraine, 7.56 tons (+2.8 times) worth $79,060 (+3 times) to UAE, and 4.64 tons worth $57,640 to Poland.

After one year and three months, Poland resumed black tea imports from Azerbaijan.
