Azerbaijan's egg imports from Georgia up by almost 70%

In the first three months of 2021, Georgia exported eggs to Azerbaijan for $273,900, Report's informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
According to GeoStat, this figure is 69.3% higher than in the same period last year.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan was the only importer of Georgian eggs.
From January through March 2021, Georgia reduced the import of eggs by 95.1% in annual comparison. The country spent $53,600 on egg imports and bought them mainly from Turkey, Czech Republic, France, and Hungary.
