Azerbaijan details 8-month agricultural production

Between January and August of 2025, Azerbaijan produced agricultural goods worth 9.424 billion manats (over $5.543 billion), marking a 0.8% decline year-on-year, Report informs, referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.

Over the past year, the value of Azerbaijan's crop production declined by 2.5%, totaling 4.776 billion manats (approximately $2.81 billion), while livestock production rose by 1.1%, reaching 4.648 billion manats (just over $2.734 billion).

During the eight-month period, Azerbaijan produced 383,900 tons of meat (live weight, including poultry), over 1.493 million tons of milk, nearly 1.606 billion eggs, 14,300 tons of wool, and 186.6 tons of silkworm cocoons.

Compared to the previous year, egg production increased by 2.1%, meat by 1.2%, and milk by 0.3%. Wool production dropped by 1.4%, while cocoon output saw a sharp decline of 22.1%.
