Tourism to be priority in Azerbaijan–Saudi Arabia relations

Tourism will be one of the main directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in the near future, Hassan Al-Attas, Head of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, told Report.

Al-Attas underscored that tourism cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia will expand: "In recent years, the number of tourists coming from Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan has been increasing. Many Saudi tourists visit Azerbaijan. It is a safe country with beautiful nature and hospitable people."

He added that interest in Azerbaijan is not limited to Saudi Arabia: "Overall, tourist inflows from Gulf countries are rising. This trend positively impacts the development of Azerbaijan's tourism sector and its economy."
