Number of Georgia's visitors from Azerbaijan up by 74%

22,305 people from Azerbaijan visited Georgia from January through May 2021, Report informs, citing the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

According to the agency, this is 245,711 people or 91.7% less than in the same period last year.

Regarding the number of visits to Georgia in the first five months of 2021, Azerbaijan ranked 4th after Turkey, Armenia, and Russia.

In May alone, Georgia received 5,704 visitors from Azerbaijan, 2,428 people or 74.1% more than a year earlier.

The total number of international guests who visited the South Caucasus country in January-May was 329,825 (-76.6%).
