Azerbaijan showcases luxury tourism potential in Kazakhstan

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), under the State Tourism Agency, participated in the Luxury Travel Mart (LTM) held in Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan, from September 17 to 19.

According to Report, more than 30 tourism companies and tour operators from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan attended B2B meetings during the event, where opportunities for cooperation were discussed and Azerbaijan's luxury tourism offerings were presented.

In January-August 2025, 69,332 visitors from Kazakhstan and 37,718 from Uzbekistan traveled to Azerbaijan-an increase of 19% and 28%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

Direct flights operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Air Astana, FlyArystan, and Uzbekistan Airways between Baku and the cities of Almaty, Astana, and Tashkent have contributed to the growth in mutual visitor numbers and strengthened tourism ties between the countries.
