Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities presented at WUF13

Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities are being presented at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), the State Tourism Agency told Report.

The agency said Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities are being promoted at the national pavilion at the Urban Expo exhibition, organized as part of WUF13 by the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Board under it.

"Visitors are provided with detailed information about the country's cultural tourism, gastronomic tourism, winter tourism, ecotourism, as well as the tourism potential of Karabakh and East Zangazur and tourism opportunities along the Victory Road route.

"At the national stand, visitors are offered the opportunity to explore various tourist destinations in Azerbaijan through virtual reality technology, while participants are introduced to the art of shebeke through master classes held by a shebeke craftsperson.

"As part of the exhibition, an information session presenting Azerbaijan's rich tea culture is held for visitors, and tea is served with national sweets," the statement said.

In addition, presentation sessions dedicated to promoting birdwatching tourism are organized for visitors, providing detailed information about Azerbaijan's ecological diversity and national parks.

Information sessions dedicated to Azerbaijan's tourism will continue throughout the event.
