Azerbaijan's tea traditions showcased in Brussels, with Paris next

The Fireland Azerbaijani Union presented the country's national tea culture at the 2nd International Tea Festival in Brussels, introducing Europeans to traditional tea varieties and sweets, Report informs referring to the country's embassies in Belgium and Luxembourg.
At the Azerbaijani stand, guests were offered drinks with thyme, rose petals, cardamom, cloves, and other varieties.
Visitors had the opportunity not only to sample tea and sweets but also to learn more about Azerbaijan's rich tea culture.
Participants recreated a traditional Azerbaijani tea ceremony, where festival guests were offered shakarbura, baklava, various jams, nogul (colorful candies), and other homemade sweets along with their drinks, and were also given a tour of their preparation.
The Azerbaijani stand generated great interest among visitors and received high praise from the event organizers.
As a result, the Fireland Azerbaijani Union received an invitation to the next event, which will be held in Paris.
The embassy and the Azerbaijani community in Belgium provided their support for the union's participation in the festival.
