Azerbaijani judokas claim four medals at Prague European Open

The European Judo Tour Open 2026, held in Prague, has concluded, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
On the final competition day, Ajdar Baghirov (100 kg) added the next medal to Azerbaijan's national team tally.
The judoka claimed the silver award.
On the first competition day, Elshan Asadov (66 kg) won gold, Rashad Yelkiyev (66 kg) silver, and Kamran Suleymanov (73 kg) a bronze medal.
The Azerbaijani national team finished the tournament with a total of 4 medals – 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze. The team placed sixth in the overall team standings among 38 countries, while in the men's category, it shared second-third place with France.
