Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation official appointed to European Championship qualifier

Mikhail Frishman, International Relations Specialist at the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF), has been appointed by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) to officiate in an upcoming international fixture, Report informs, citing the AVF.

Frishman will serve as a CEV-appointed supervisor for the 2026 Men’s European Volleyball Championship qualifying match between Switzerland and Sweden. The Group E clash is scheduled to take place on August 16 in Switzerland.

In his role, Frishman will be responsible for evaluating the performance of match referees.
