Presidential Administration: Proposals prepared to prevent child marriages

In order to prevent early marriages in Azerbaijan, proposals for additions and changes to relevant laws and other legal acts have been prepared, Rustam Gasimov, Sector Head at the Department of Legislation and Legal Policy of the Presidential Administration, told journalists, Report informs.
He said that the main goals are to discuss these proposals with the public and find an effective solution: "It is important to raise awareness about child marriages and involve the public in solving these problems. Of course, we understand that child marriage is a serious problem not only in Azerbaijan but also in the world. This problem also worries us. Our goal is to find balanced, effective solutions."
