Azerbaijan records 1,122 twins and 63 triplets

In January-April 2023, 1,122 twins and 63 triplets were born in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the Committee, 37,159 newborns across the country were registered by the district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice in the reporting period, and compared to the same period in 2022, this indicator fell from 12.1 to 11.1 per 1,000 people.
